During lockdown we developed a membership scheme as many people were unable to work from home and it allowed us to support the community whilst supporting Zu Cafe to survive the pandemic.

ZU RESIDENT: £25 per month
Make Zu your new home! Come in from 8am-3pm Monday to Saturday and work from here.
Book your own table/workspace online or just show up. Come for an hour or be here most the day. Use the super fast wi-fi, even have your meetings here! Now the lockdown is over we will allow public back into the lounge but you an reserve your table as a priority and feel relaxed to use the space as your home without needing to buy things or have a waitress hovering as you would being in another cafe all day. Many people through this scheme are meeting others in Lewes and it is the perfect antidote to the lockdown.
You also get a free award-wining, fair-trade, organic coffee every day! You don’t even need to come in if on the run, this offer applies to take away too…saving you over £35 a month on a £2.50 daily coffee!
We have the members bar open every Saturday which is a great way to drop in and meet people or bring your friends.
You can also organise private events for your friends and family when the lounge is free at a discounted hire cost, so celebrate your special occasions or workshops safely here.
We hope you’ll see this is fantastic value for all we’re offering and something you can’t get anywhere else. With this membership, you help us provide a sanctuary of normality within the chaos and a space in town to call home.

ZU SUPPORTER: £5 per month or one off donation of your choosing
This is for those who believe in keeping the Zu space alive and want to support in some way but aren’t really able to come to the cafe much. If you wish to gift Zu we truly appreciate it, these are unprecedented times and we don’t know if we will survive as we watch other spaces fall but whilst we stand we continue to support the community. We offer space for social projects that are important to the local community…. From community meetings to guitar club to art groups to environmental projects through the last few months we have continued to quietly keep working to try and provide a space for others. Zu supporters will also be able to book space at discounted rates for special events and be offered all special offers and can have a complimentary day pass to lounge once a week.

Membership T's and C's
You have the right to cancel at any time without prejudice. Will will give a month's notification if we choose to cancel the scheme. Membership rules are respect the space and everyone in it. If an issue occurs, management decision is final. If you would prefer to pay by cash or bank transfer, please let us know.
